Beggs Family Farm| Sikeston
Beggs Family Farm is part of Beggs Melon Company, Inc., a real working farm that has been in business since 1895. We are proud of our farming roots and want to share the farming experience. Beggs Family Farm offers opportunities to observe a working farm at our school field trips and our seasonal festivals.
Verona Corn Maize| Verona
We have the scariest corn maze in the area! The maze, which features seven acres of twists and turns carved into a corn field, is one of the biggest and most popular events sponsored by GRIP every year. The opening-night activities will feature a strongman competition at 4 p.m., a performance by the bluegrass group Bright Water Junction at 6 p.m. and a fireworks display at dark. Proceeds will go to Ozark Food Harvest. The maze will remain open until Nov. 1, and will include family friendly attractions such as hay rides, movie nights on Friday and Saturday evenings, games, animals and rides for children. Beginning on Oct. 3, the maze will kick off its “Field of Screams” tour, in which the maze will be populated by ghosts and goblins.

The Pumpkin Pad is a fun family venue that has been evolving and growing since 2015. We started this adventure simply as a pumpkin wholesale operation. After listening to our valued customer feedback, we took the plunge and opened a pumpkin patch in 2017 with lots of fun family activities in addition to our pumpkin retail. We have had great success and have already outgrown our small patch. We are excited to expand our operation this year. The Pumpkin Pad is now located on a 40 acre farm in Lone Jack, Missouri with lots of fresh air and beautiful scenery! We are so excited for all of the new activities planned for this Fall Season!
